What could this pile of yarn be? |
Did anyone guess that it was going to be tassels??
Here are the tassels |
We've made six large and six small tassels to adorn our piece of art.
Here's a shot of what our final project looks like.
And in other exciting news... today is the day (or technically.. today was the day). This masterpiece has been placed in it's final home... finally! We packed our supplies: a bag, a camera, our tag with our label on it (doesn't it look so much better than the first one?) and a pair of scissors.
Tomorrow we'll tell you about our adventure... but you must wait until then. And... we will not share a picture of this piece until then.
This will be wrapped around a pole downtown. |

Has anyone seen it yet?
If you have even more yarn "tailings" you can put them in an onion bag and string it up in a tree. The birds will use it for their nests!
ReplyDeleteThat's a good idea! KnitMama wonders if the acrylic is good for them, though.
DeleteI saw it!! Nice work, Kninjas!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Glad you liked it! Did it cheer you up?
DeleteIn fact, it made my day!
