The Birth Of Knitting Kninjas

Yarn Bombing: The Art Of Crochet And Knit Graffiti by Mandy Moore and Leanne Prain was a Christmas gift received December 31st, 2013.  By January 1st, 2014... the idea had begun!

The mission:
Bring cheer to the world... one yarn bombing at time!

The dream began in the brain of a seven year old knitter who loves to read and pretend with her sisters that they are ninjas.  Yarn bombing sounded very fun and she wanted to expand her knitting skills.

She quickly involved her mother and this rapidly spread to more of their knitting friends.

Soon (on date still to be determined and in a place still to be determined) the very first meeting of The Knitting Kninjas will occur... the excitement is mounting.

Stay tuned for more on this adventure!

    1. You can be part of it definitely. When we find out a time and a place, we'll let you know.

In the meantime, you can start bombing and send us pictures of the bombings for the website.

When we have labels made up (to attach to your bombs) we'll pass some on to you (it will give people the website address).
